Step 4: Select Direct Transfer Upload

In SmartFTP, the way someone uploads a file, is through something they call "Direct Transfer".

To start a Direct Transfer Upload, you can either "right click" somewhere on the FTP files/directory listing or you can get there from the File menu. Either way, you have to select a few menu items like the following:

Once you have selected the Select Files item, an Open dialog will appear (see next step).
