Publish with CoreFTP

Most ChurchServe accounts come with FTP access. If you have a FrontPage only account, this tutorial is not for you. CoreFTP is an FTP client available for free (even for commercial use). For other details, we encourage you to visit their site for details.

This is not a detailed tutorial and does not cover topics of how to design or develop your webpages. This tutorial assumes the user has some knowledge of computers, the operating system, how to install CoreFTP, and basic webpage concepts.

The tutorial will begin playing as soon as the page is loaded. Broadband connections like Cable, DSL, and T1 (or better) connections should not experience problems, but dial-up users may wish to consider downloading the tutorial instead and playing it locally (see below).

For this tutorial, we will use CoreFTP 1.3b. The settings for the Free Website are that of a demo account used for tutorial demonstration and is not available for general use. Domain or other account settings are general examples and not real settings or domain names.

This tutorial does not descibe the only way to upload files to ChurchServe using CoreFTP, there are several ways to accomplish the same task. In addition, we do not cover any advanced features offered by this software.
