Introduction

ChurchServe desires to maintain our users and customer's information private and assure them of ChurchServe's commitment to use any information in a responsible way.

General Policy

It is the policy of ChurchServe to keep user information private except in cases noted by our Exclusions (see below) or specific terms of a service offered by ChurchServe.

Email Policy

ChurchServe explicitly posts privacy policies related to email addresses within the context of specific services requested by the user. We do not share/sell your information with third party companies or persons, unless you have agreed to share this information with a specific company (such cases are always noted).

ChurchServe may send you notices, marketing information, special offers, or other emails specific to the context of ChurchServe or its services. Specific service may determine what types of emails you agree to recieve from ChurchServe. In all cases, you will have the ability to opt-out of our email notices. Opting-out of some free services may effectly cancel your membership or account with ChurchServe.

ChurchServe does not send spam or unsolicited commerical junk email. If you recieve an email from ChurchServe which you did not agree to recieve, please let us know, but emailing us (or forwarding original email message) to abuse@churchserve.com. We cannot be held responsible for spam or other emails that appear to originate from ChurchServe due to forged (fake) email headers or unauthorized use of our servers.

Exclusions

ChurchServe cannot be held responsible if the user elects to post/upload/share their personal or private information on public Internet or web based forums, their website/homepage, or any other non-secure, open part of ChurchServe freely accessible to the general public and Internet community. If the user elects to post their information in secure, but public areas, ChurchServe cannot be held responsible if member users within secure areas misuse posted or shared information volunteered.

In addition, some services ChurchServe offer to customers require the involvement of third party companies (example: domain registration). If you are using these services, the third party may have different privacy policies and may change them without notice to ChurchServe or the user. In all cases, ChurchServe will warn users regarding the use of third parties in order to use the service.

Privacy notices and terms of a specific service have precedence over this general policy.
